The Dominican Exporters' Association of Oriental Vegetables Inc. (DEAOV), it's a non-profit organization founded in 1994. It operates as a representative institution of members in the private and public sector,    d efending corporate interests aiming at the development of industries in an environment of competitiveness and equity.

Its main activities are as follows:

• Capacitating agricultural workers and exporters in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), sustainable technologies, post-harvesting, fulfilment of rules and standards of quality, integrated pest management, among others.

• Promoting products in fairs and commercial events, creating linkages among importers abroad and local suppliers.

• Sector representations within authorities in forums of discussion regarding public policies with incidence concerning the industry.

• Fulfilling the procedures required for the progress of fito -sanitary barriers in developed countries.

• Guaranteeing Pre-inspection and Integrated Pest Management.

ADEXVO has a total of 31 registrations from agricultural enterprises dedicated to the commercialisation of their products at an international level.

Every year, the members of (ADEXVO) export approximately 1,844,479 boxes of fruits and vegetables, an estimated value of $50 million dollars. More than 10,000 jobs depend of the production among them exporters, producers, technicians and workers.

The headquarter is located in the 5 ½ kilometre, Sabaneta Road, La Vega, Dominican Republic.
